What a fantastic 40s clutch!  Rich brown, authentic alligator skin with the body - head to toes - wrapped from the front to the back.  Top 'slide through' handle (opens just enough for your hand to slide through).  Leather lined.  Snap closure.  Laced seams.  This rare purse is definitely a conversation piece.

  CONDITION:  Overall very good.  The purse shows normal wear, with just a couple of things to note.  The head has a bit of extra glue under it to reinforce it during normal usage (not readily noticeable).  There is some light surface wear, with the most wear to the elbows.  And, although the snap works perfectly, we recommend opening/closing it with care (as you would with any snap in older leather).  The leather has been cleaned and conditioned.  See photos.  Priced Accordingly.
